Where do the numbers come from?
Each line cites its source. Tap it to see the price it used and how the line was built. When a source changes you can see which line moves.
Does it tell me a contractor is overcharging?
No. It shows what the work would cost from sourced numbers so you can see where a quote differs and ask about it. Labor rates and scope vary; use it to ask better questions.
What kinds of things can it price?
From a walnut table to a kitchen remodel, and the materials and labor in between.
What is free?
Estimates, ranges, route comparison, the share artifact and photo identification are free forever.
