Questions

Is anything uploaded?

No. Speech recognition and speaker labeling run on the phone. Your audio is never sent to us or to any transcription service. The only download is the one-time speech models.

Do I need permission to record someone?

Yes. In Pennsylvania and several other states everyone in a conversation must agree to being recorded. Tell people you are recording and get their consent first.

How accurate is the transcript?

Automatic transcripts and speaker labels make mistakes. Check anything important against the recording. A transcript is not an official or legal record.
