The time you really have
Wheels-down to lights-out, minus sleep, the ride and buffers. Slide your rest target and watch the picks change.
Picks that fit
Only places that fit the window and the distance from the hotel, each checked by hand at some point.
Import your roster
Calendar files, roster PDFs, pasted text or a photo of the roster, read on your device.
Schedule view
See the whole trip, including the short overnights, and plan each one.
Works offline
Open it once with a connection and it keeps working without one.
Nothing collected
No account, no server of ours, no analytics, no ads.
A web app in beta.
Layover Logic
Open it free
It is a web app at layover-logic.web.app. Nothing to download, and it updates itself.
Add to home screen
On iPhone this matters
Safari erases data for websites you have not opened in 7 days, but not for apps added to the home screen.
Your data
Stays in your browser
Layovers, rosters, picks and notes are kept in your browser on your phone. Clear it and they are gone; we hold no copy.
Questions
Does it calculate legal rest?
No. The rest math is a planning aid. It does not compute legal rest requirements and does not replace your airline's rules or your regulator's flight-time limits.
Is my roster uploaded?
No. Calendar files, PDFs, pasted text and photos are read on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Are the picks current?
Places close, move and change hours, and transit times vary. Every pick was checked by hand at some point, but none is guaranteed. Check before you go.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes, once you have opened it with one. Add it to your home screen so it stays.
Does it cost anything?
Layover Logic is in beta and free to open.
Which cities are covered?
100 layover cities with 3,165 verified picks.
